Greetings from Beijing!

Today is the start of the Beijing Twinning Programme. A team of 20 students and 3 teachers are going to Beijing 109 Middle School for an exchange programme. It was really exciting to see many family members who turned up at the airport for departure. =)
Short briefing by the tour guide and teachers prior departure
Family members bidding farewell....
And finally our flight took off at 5pm.
We arrived safely at the Beijing airport and boarded the bus at 1220am. Mr Sun, a Beijing 109 Middle School Teacher who is in charge of the Twinning Programme, was at the airport to welcome us. In order to see us, he waited for an hour at the airport! We were all very touched by his kind gesture.
Lastly we arrived at Tian Tan Hotel at 1am...
Official visit to Beijing 109 Middle School starts at 9am in the morning. The school is only a 10 minutes walk away from the hotel.
We can sense an excitement in the air among the students, do stay tuned for more updates when the programme officially kick-starts!
