Last Day (Day 13)

Finally we are going back home. It was an emotional moment for us as we stepped out of Changi Airport seeing all our love ones. We think that this Twinning Programme has made us come out as stronger man and woman. We believe that we will never forget our 13 days together learning at Beijing 109 Middle School and knowing China. Day 12

One more day before taking our flight SQ801 to return home. Today Beijing 109 Middle School gave us a Farewell Party and Dinner. Here are the pictures:

Day 11

2 more days more to go before we return to Singapore. Today marks the beginning of China Gao Kao (National Exam). We were brought to Yi He Yuan for a visit and after which we went for more shopping at Ya Show Shopping mall and Wang Fu Jing. Here are the pictures:

Day 10

3 more days to our return to Singapore. Today is the last day of school for us as the students will be taking their High School Exam for the next 2 days. Some of us have developed some bonds with our classmates in Beijing 109 Middle School. We hope that our friendship will last forever. Today we visited the Ancient Astronomical Observatory and the Silk Street. We did not take much picture at the Silk Street because we are busying shopping! Here are the few pictures we have:

Day 9

Weather is hot and sunny. It is somewhat similar to Singapore. Today we visited 2 places of interest. We visited the old Summer palace and a pearl factory. Here are the pictures:

Tomorrow we will be going to the Ancient Observatory and the Silk Street for shopping!

Day 8

Finally the "real" summer is here! Beijing is now warmer and we need to drink at least 3 bottles of water to hydrate ourselves. Today we visited Tsing Hua University and Peking University. Also we have attended an interesting Chinese Painting Art Lesson. Here are the photos for the day:

Day 7

We have decided to make this a rest and reflection day. Instead of going out, we stayed in the hotel to get some rest. We had a fun time sleeping, watching tv and interacting with one another. Also we went to the nearby shop to get our daily supply of water and food. On our way there, we visited a shop selling lots of disney products. Many of us spent quite some money there. After our fabulous dinner, we have our daily reflection.
